In January 2014, Candies Creek Church, whose campus is in rural Bradley County, started Candies Creek City Church to give them a presence in the city that would one day be an independent church. We first met at Bradley Central High School, but after a few months, God gave us our current campus. We spent 14 months renovating this building, so restoration is wired into our DNA. On July 26, 2015, we finally moved in and celebrated our transition to an independent church! In January 2017, God led us through a season of rebranding as we became Public Church. The name reminds us that following Jesus is not limited to a time and space, but we blur the lines between what happens on and off our campus. We passionately point people to Jesus wherever we are, and we would love to have you join us on our journey.
