Why We Serve

In Mark 10:45 Jesus said, “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” We desire to follow Jesus’ pattern and serve, not as an event, but as part of our lifestyle. Therefore, we serve within our spheres of influence, or the places we spend time in our everyday lives. As we seek a lifestyle of serving, we are motivated by one of our Core Values: We come alongside people rather than completing projects. Both locally and globally, we take a relationship-based approach where we consistently ask, “How can we serve by coming alongside people rather than completing projects?”

Public Teams

Our Public Teams are absolutely vital to us achieving our God-given vision. Public Teams provide opportunities for us to find and embrace our role in Jesus' church by serving on and off our campus. If you are interested in serving our children and parents, click here to be redirected to the Next Generation page.

Our WeServe teams empower guests and regulars to follow the pattern of Jesus through a lifestyle of serving outside of a Sunday Gathering. If you are interested in becoming involved in serving our community locally and/or globally click here to see a complete list of our WeServe teams.
